Head of Group Controlling

As a close sparring partner to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for group-wide controlling and consolidation. You will manage management reporting, analyse the financial and operational development of the group and its companies, and provide sound decision-making bases for the CFO and management. Budgeting, forecasting, and medium-term planning are also part of your responsibilities, as are quarterly and annual consolidation. Together with the local finance managers, you identify relevant profit, margin, cost, and cash flow drivers and derive concrete recommendations for action.

A focus lies on the further development and harmonisation of group-wide finance and controlling structures. You optimise reporting, planning, and consolidation processes, define standards, and ensure a reliable data basis. You further develop Emasphere as a central platform and actively drive digitalisation and automation. In addition, you accompany the integration of new companies, contribute to strategic and M&A projects, and lead the local controllers and finance managers professionally. The dynamic growth and integration of additional companies offer you the opportunity to sustainably shape structures and processes. You set priorities, create transparency, and develop pragmatic solutions that support the further expansion of the group. We are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, actively shapes change, and feels confident in a dynamic environment.

You have a higher education in business administration, finance, controlling, accounting, or a comparable field, as well as several years of experience in group controlling of an internationally or decentralised organised company. We expect sound knowledge in consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience with consolidation software – ideally Emasphere – as well as very good Excel and ERP skills complete your profile. You combine analytical strength with entrepreneurial thinking, quickly grasp complex contexts, and advance topics with initiative and assertiveness. Good German and English skills are required; French skills are an advantage.
