This position reports to:
Engineering Manager
Your responsibilities:
In this role, you have the opportunity to take responsibility for the sales of products/systems/services in a specific market segment or division according to the division strategy. Daily, you will achieve qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you demonstrate your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The working model for this position is hybrid. #LI-Hybrid
This role belongs to the Robotics Division Switzerland.
You are mainly responsible for:
Building and maintaining customer relationships: Identifying and managing key and existing customers at all levels, including representing ABB at the customer and being responsible for all customer communication.
Business development: Analyzing customer needs, deriving and implementing appropriate strategies to achieve goals, as well as identifying and creating customer value in close coordination with sales.
Market and competitor analysis: Continuously monitoring the market and competitive situation to identify sales opportunities and targeted market presence.
Collaboration with departments: Close coordination with global key account managers and internal departments for offer preparation, presentation, and conducting sales negotiations.
Qualifications for the role:
Completed bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
At least five years of sales experience in robotics as well as machine and factory automation.
Ideally, experience working with system integrators, OEMs, and sales partners in the robotics field, gained through many years of specific professional experience.
Solid knowledge of automation solutions, cross-industry application know-how, artificial intelligence, digital partnerships, and modern manufacturing technologies.
Good knowledge of the regional robotics market as well as familiarity with ABB Robotics products is desirable.
Confident use of analysis and sales tools is required; experience with Salesforce.com is an advantage.
Fluent German and English skills.
