The Adullam Foundation is a leading institution for geriatric medicine, therapy, and care in Northwestern Switzerland. It operates a hospital and an affiliated care center each in Basel and Riehen. The approximately 800 employees provide elderly people with a regionally unique comprehensive care from acute medicine through rehabilitation to transitional and long-term care. Your Tasks
• Comprehensive care of our geriatric patients in the areas:
- Acute treatment of internal diseases
- Geriatric assessment and rehabilitation
- Long-term and palliative medicine
• Outpatient medical care in our care centers (possibility of FMH recognition)
• Participation in diagnostics, therapy planning and implementation, including geriatric assessments
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with nursing, therapy, social work, nutrition, and psychology – active in quality circles.
• Participation in the mentoring program including collegial case coaching, simulation training, and interdisciplinary further education.

• Completed medical studies with interest in geriatrics, palliative medicine, and internal medicine
• MEBEKO recognition available or already applied for
• Beginners: structured introduction to the "basics" of internal medicine with close supervision by experienced senior physicians. This creates a good foundation for your later work in other hospitals or provides a useful "backpack" in case of other specialization.
• Experienced assistant physicians: independent care of complex cases with high medical, psychosocial, and ethical relevance
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
• High empathy, communication skills, and joy in a patient-centered, holistic approach
• Good German skills; additional language skills are an advantage
