About the job

One of the leading retirement centres in Eastern Switzerland and with around 350 employees a significant employer in the region. The professional services and various forms of housing are used by up to 330 experienced elderly people. At our two locations in Kreuzlingen and Bottighofen, we implement contemporary care and support concepts. We are guided by the principles of family-centred care and palliative care. Always with the aim of enabling our residents the best possible quality of life.
Our transitional and short-term care residential area is focused on rehabilitative care with the goal of enabling a return home within a maximum of 3 months. The residential area also offers palliative stays for residents with advanced illness, where relief of symptoms, quality of life, and support are paramount. The aim is holistic care involving relatives and, if necessary, in cooperation with specialised palliative care services.
Your Challenge
- Holistic, needs-oriented, individual and professionally competent care and support of our residents in the acute and transitional residential area
- Primary nurse for the residents and their relatives during their recovery and rehabilitation phase
- Design and responsibility in the care process and close cooperation with doctors and therapists
- Assuming daily responsibility in the residential area
- Competent execution of nursing technical measures
- Electronic nursing documentation with easyDOK and participation in care needs assessment according to RAI-NH
- Additional tasks according to individual specifications
Our Desired Profile
- Completed training as a qualified nursing specialist (HF/FH/DNII) with professional experience
(for foreign qualifications, equivalent training recognised by the SRK) - Empathetic, flexible, resilient personality with a high sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team
- Ability to assess unstable care situations and initiate appropriate measures
- Great enjoyment of complex and changing care situations and rehabilitative care
- Good communication skills with confident German language skills in spoken and written form
