Within one of our Autonomous Production Units, you are responsible for the conformity of manufactured components and actively contribute to achieving our quality excellence objectives. As a true partner of production, you ensure the processing and analysis of non-conformities, oversee the application of standards as well as the provision of control procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes to meet the highest demands of our clients.
Your mission within our Manufacture
• Ensure that only components conforming to defined requirements are delivered to the movement assembly workshops and to our clients.
• Make the necessary quality decisions to secure production flows and protect the client, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure the processing, analysis, and follow-up of non-conformities detected in production.
• Lead quality investigations on site, identify root causes, and guarantee the implementation of effective corrective actions aimed at preventing any recurrence.
• Actively contribute to QRQC by ensuring the rigorous application of problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys…).
• Collaborate closely with Production, Industrialisation, Logistics, Development, and Quality teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
• Serve as the aesthetic referent of the UAP and ensure the application of acceptance criteria.
• Develop, promote, and sustain the self-control approach within production.
• Write, update, and optimise control protocols.
• Ensure consistency of control standards between different workshops as well as with component incoming inspection and final movement inspection.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of control processes and to strengthening the quality performance of the UAP.
Your profile and skills
• Holder of a Quality Technician diploma or equivalent training, you have significant experience in quality assurance of watch components or in a high-precision industrial environment.
• Excellent mastery of Quality tools (QRQC, 8D, 5 Whys) as well as statistical process control tools (SPC).
• Ability to analyse complex situations, take a stance on quality issues, and enforce defined standards.
• Excellent proficiency in reading technical drawings, dimensional and geometric tolerances, and their interpretation.
• Proficient in common IT tools and excellent knowledge of a QMS software such as Quick Control, as well as measurement instruments commonly used in the watchmaking industry.
• Hands-on mindset, rigour, observational skills, and strong client orientation.
• Excellent interpersonal skills enabling effective interaction with all trades within the manufacture.
• Autonomous and versatile, you know how to manage priorities in a demanding environment.
