The Matterhorn Gotthard Railway is taking new paths in leadership: For the Locomotive Staff Team Andermatt-Disentis we are looking for a junior person as Co-Team Leader starting December 1, 2026. In this model, you will lead the team together and future-oriented with an experienced team leader. You will actively participate in daily business, operational leadership, and the further development of the team. The goal is to gradually develop you into a comprehensive leadership role while you remain active as a locomotive driver 50%.

Your field of activity

You will take on targeted tasks in co-leadership focusing on leadership and team development. Your experienced co-team leader will support you as a coach. Your main tasks are:

Participation in recruitments, conducting dialogue meetings, and accompanying rides with employees
Organization and leadership of team meetings
Rotation and scheduling topics
Support in conducting safety discussions
Locomotive driver (50%)

Your profile

You have training as a locomotive driver and bring very good operational and technical knowledge
You are open to trying new things and gradually working into a leadership role and have a strong interest in leadership and team development
You are communicative, resilient, and like to take responsibility
You are customer-oriented, service-strong, and have a pronounced safety awareness
You have good computer user skills
