To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed individual as:
What to expect
No day is like the other. You can expect varied tasks:
- Maintenance and upkeep of the municipality-owned roads
- Waterway maintenance and their protective structures
- Operation, maintenance and control of collection and recycling points
- Maintenance and care of road signage, as well as machines, equipment, vehicles and other work materials
- Participation in winter services including on-call duty
- Assistance at various community and village events (e.g. fair)
What you bring with you
- Completed technical or craft vocational training (e.g. road construction, civil engineering, wood/forestry, metal construction, horticulture, vehicle technology, waste disposal/recycling or comparable qualification)
- Technical understanding, manual dexterity and enjoyment of practical work outdoors
- Good physical fitness and resilience
- Driving licence category B and BE (category C an advantage)
- Interest in sustainable operations and the further development of municipal infrastructure
- Willingness for periodic on-call duties and a short commute
