Area Business Manager Switzerland and Austria

What makes your everyday life exciting?

• You lead, coach and develop the sales organisation in Switzerland and Austria with a focus on sustainable growth and high customer orientation
• You develop and implement regional sales and growth strategies based on market, customer and performance analyses and are responsible for forecasts as well as the further development of your region
• You identify new market potentials, acquire new customers and strategically develop existing customer, partner and key account relationships
• Together with marketing, service and other internal interfaces, you ensure an optimal customer experience and implement targeted campaigns, events and business development activities
• You analyse market and competitive developments and derive concrete measures to increase our market share and profitability
• You ensure that CRM, reporting and sales processes are used efficiently and continuously developed
• In close exchange with the Area Business Managers in Germany and Italy, you promote successful regional cooperation and knowledge transfer within the organisation
• Together with the General Manager, you are responsible for budget planning, forecasts and the medium- and long-term sales strategy

What do you bring with you?

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales or business management, ideally in a technical or scientific environment
• Proven success in market development and achieving ambitious sales targets
• Experience in leading interdisciplinary teams and collaborating with various stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial thinking, strategic understanding and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Confident appearance as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• Independent and structured way of working combined with high initiative
• Strong customer orientation and enjoyment in building sustainable relationships
• Very good German and French skills; English skills are an advantage
• Willingness to travel within the region (approx. 50%)
