Co-Head of IT Services - Service & Organisation 80-100%

Together with your counterpart, you will lead and further develop the IT Services area. While the focus of the second co-head is on Technology & Delivery, you will be responsible in particular for Service Management, Organisation, Support, as well as collaboration with our customers and stakeholders.

You ensure that our IT services are clearly organised, efficiently managed, and delivered with a customer-oriented approach. In doing so, you operate at the interface between employees, customers, management, and external partners, contributing to simplifying processes, clarifying responsibilities, and sustainably further developing the quality of our services.

Your main tasks:

• Further development of IT services and co-design of the strategic direction of the area
• Responsibility for service management, service quality, and the continuous improvement of our IT service processes and offerings
• Professional and organisational responsibility for the support area; further development of support processes, responsibilities, and interfaces between support, engineering, and other stakeholders
• Management and coordination of customer and stakeholder concerns as well as handling escalations
• Ensuring structured and target-group-appropriate communication towards customers, management, and internal departments
• Analysis, simplification, and further development of organisational and administrative processes within IT services
• Responsibility for transparent and practical processes around performance recording, billing, and reporting
• Participation in budgeting, resource and capacity planning, as well as economic management of the area
• Co-design and maintenance of service descriptions, service agreements, and SLAs
• Management of external service providers and partners in organisational and commercial matters
• Leadership and development of employees as well as promotion of personal responsibility and collaboration
• Active contribution to cross-departmental collaboration and sustainable knowledge transfer

What we expect from you:

• Completed higher education in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable education and training related to IT and organisation
• Several years of professional experience in a comparable leadership, service management, or IT management role
• Good understanding of IT service organisations, support processes, and business contexts
• Sufficient technical understanding to assess requirements and impacts of IT solutions and to collaborate with technical specialists on an equal footing
• Experience in leading and developing employees
• Strong communication and moderation skills as well as a confident manner towards different stakeholder groups
• Networked and entrepreneurial thinking as well as the ability to set priorities and make decisions
• Enjoyment in creating structures, simplifying processes, and clarifying and taking on responsibility
• Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style with pronounced team skills
• Very good German skills; English skills and other national languages are an advantage
