About the job
The operating theatre, located on our Delémont site, is composed of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the care of patients requiring diverse surgical treatments, mainly in visceral surgery, orthopaedics, urology, gynaecology, obstetrics, ENT, ophthalmology and neurosurgery, ensuring safety, quality and continuity of care.
To complete our team in the operating theatre, we are looking for, for a start date from 1st December 2026 or to be agreed, a:
Operating Theatre Technician
Responsibilities
- Prepare, organise and ensure the availability of the necessary equipment for surgical interventions.
- Guarantee the proper technical functioning of medical devices and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and theatre nurses to ensure the optimal conduct of interventions.
- Ensure traceability of the equipment used and participate in monitoring hygiene and sterilisation processes.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, organised and efficient operating environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma as an operating theatre technician (TSO), IBODE or IDDO.
- Previous experience in the operating theatre across various specialties is desirable.
- Excellent command of aseptic rules and safety protocols.
- Keen attention to detail, rigour and ability to manage complex situations.
- Team spirit, autonomy, flexibility and good stress resistance.
