Job Description
The Bethel Home Foundation is a living place welcoming 65 residents over 65 years old whose physical or mental health condition requires support 7 days a week and 24 hours a day until the end of their lives.
Job Description:
- Contribute to promoting the quality of life of residents by supporting, over time, the institution's project in the field of palliative care
- Conduct activities with an interdisciplinary approach from admission to death
- Cooperate in resident support projects with an interdisciplinary vision
- Ensure optimal quality of care in compliance with current standards
- Provide nursing care and keep records up to date
- Ensure quality oral and written handovers
- Supervise and support the work of ASSC, ASA, and nursing assistants
- Participate in the supervision of students, apprentices, and new sector employees
Profile Sought
- A diploma as a nurse in general care HES or equivalent
- Additional training such as CAS (palliative care, dementia, PF) or Plaisir evaluator – an asset
- Right to practice
- 3 years of experience in nursing homes in Switzerland required
- Knowledge of palliative care
- A sense of responsibility
- An interest in interdisciplinary work
- Knowledge of the DIR (Sadies) computer tool – desired
- Fluency in French
