ICT Product Owner

About the job

• Lead Product Owner for all projects of a highly regulated data center.
• Responsibility for the product backlog and its prioritization for complex hardware and software systems.
• Develop product vision: Define the long-term vision for the product in alignment with the business strategy
• Create and further develop the roadmap together with the team and stakeholders
• Reporting and communication: You keep stakeholders informed about progress and adjust the product strategy according to market and business requirements.
• Participation in the strategic planning and alignment of RUAG ICT
• Contribution to the definition of standardization initiatives in the ICT landscape
• Planning, controlling, and monitoring the provision of ICT services for external customers
• Monitoring and reporting: Regular reporting to ICT management on the progress of strategic initiatives and customer projects
• Support and accompany strategic projects as well as monitor the ICT market
• Trend analysis: Observe market trends and technologies to ensure the product remains competitive.
• Competitive analysis: Analyze competitors' products to ensure the products offer added value.
• Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (bridge between customers and ICT operations) to optimize communication and cooperation in customer development and projects.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent professional experience
• ICT knowledge across a broad spectrum (infrastructure, network, software development, application management, service management)
• Proven experience as a Product Owner with Professional Scrum Product Owner™ III (PSPO III) certification
• Experience in federal environment / defense industry / highly regulated environment is an advantage
• Ability to structure complex problems and make sustainable decisions
• Enjoy working in a demanding interface function between people and technology
• Knowledge of agile frameworks
• Quick comprehension, independent goal-oriented working style, and strong team spirit
• Team player who accepts challenges, coordinates them, and sees them through to completion
• Oral and written communication skills in German and English
