At Spitex Regio Liestal, we accompany people where they feel at home. In our psychiatry team, you work independently, actively shape complex care situations, and can apply your psychiatric expertise where it has an immediate impact: in the everyday lives of our clients.

Our catchment area includes 16 municipalities with around 49,000 inhabitants. Each year, we care for and support around 1,100 clients.

To strengthen our psychiatry team, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start of a

Dipl. Psychiatric Nurse HF/FH (60-100%) - Monday to Friday

Your role

You accompany people of all ages in complex psychiatric and psychosocial situations in their familiar living environment. In doing so, you promote their mental stability and independence and involve relatives and the social environment as needed. You take responsibility for the entire care process and independently and individually shape psychiatric care.

Your tasks include in particular:

• Case management and responsibility for the entire care process – from needs assessment and planning to evaluation
• Support and counselling of people in complex psychiatric situations as well as in crises and difficult life phases
• Application of psychiatric nursing methods and interventions as well as carrying out treatment care according to medical prescription
• Advice, guidance and psychoeducation of clients, relatives and their social environment
• Coordination of care and treatment as well as close collaboration with medical professionals, hospitals and other internal and external specialist agencies
• Preparation and moderation of case discussions
• Professional advice and support of staff from interdisciplinary teams on psychiatric nursing issues
• Participation in needs assessments and the use of assessment instruments
• Contribution to the further development of care quality and, if necessary, practical training of apprentices

Your profile

• Diploma as a nurse HF/FH with professional experience in psychiatric nursing
• Enjoy working independently and taking on professional responsibility
• A respectful and resource-oriented attitude towards people in different life situations
• Ability to understand complex nursing, medical and social contexts and act appropriately to the situation
• Strong communication skills, organisational talent and enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
• Openness to professional and personal development
• Driving licence category B
