About the job
Would you like to accompany children with patience, heart, and a clear stance? In our mixed-age small class (Years 1–3), you can experience every day how your loving support makes a difference.
We are currently looking for a learning support assistant (classroom assistant) for 26 lessons. The temporary position lasts until the end of October; if suitable, there is the possibility of a permanent position from 1 November.
What to expect
You will work closely with an experienced class teacher who structures, leads the daily routine, and provides you with security. Our small class operates with a clear daily structure that offers the children orientation and calm – and provides you with a framework in which you can fulfil your role well.
Together, you will support children with special needs (including ADHD, ASD, developmental delays, psychological stress) through their school day. You will assist individual pupils in lessons, strengthen learning processes, help with settling in, staying engaged, and managing challenging moments. Your presence ensures that children feel seen, supported, and safe. Additionally, there is the opportunity to work one afternoon in the after-school care.
What you bring
An open, warm, and reliable attitude. Joy in accompanying children through their day and providing them with orientation. Patience, humour, and the ability to remain calm even in demanding situations. Experience in an educational environment is advantageous but not essential.
Why you are right with us
Because you will be part of a strong class team that sticks together, supports each other, and shares responsibility. Because you work in a school that takes development seriously – for children and staff alike. And because here you feel every day that your contribution matters.
