Tasks
As part of the intake team, you are the first point of contact for clients seeking advice. Your work is extremely varied and demanding:
- Checking entitlement to economic and personal assistance according to the Social Law of the Canton of Solothurn and the guidelines of the Olten social region
- Advising and supporting clients in the sense of the triple mandate with professional discretion within the framework of legal requirements
- Structured handover of cases to long-term counseling
- Close cooperation and coordination with internal and external actors (offices, organizations, specialist agencies, contact persons)
- Participation in the further development of the intake team, especially regarding processes, responsibilities, work tools, and the quality of case triage
Expectations
- Degree from a university of applied sciences for social work (or equivalent qualification)
- Professional experience in the field of statutory social work
- Resilient, flexible, and reflective personality
- Desire and interest to actively help develop the social welfare office
- Knowledge and experience in the commercial field
- Knowledge of the case management system KLIBnet (advantageous)
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and teamwork
