The Migration Office is looking for a
Maintenance Specialist (m/f/d)
for the centre with an integration character Bergruh in Amden from 1 August 2026 or by arrangement
Workload: 80-100%
Workplace: Amden
What to expect
- Responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of the entire property as well as the outdoor facilities
- Carrying out repair work on buildings and furniture as well as care and organisation of the workshop
- Ensuring the functionality of technical systems (e.g. heating)
- Management and supervision of the maintenance programme for the residents
- Conveying work culture and providing professional guidance within the programmes
- Cross-departmental collaboration in the centre's operations as well as deputising in the catering programme
What distinguishes you
- Completed vocational training in a technical or craft field with EFZ qualification
- Manual dexterity and technical understanding of building maintenance (e.g. heating, sanitary, electrical)
- Independent and structured working style as well as flexibility with changing tasks
- Team spirit and enjoyment in working with people from different cultures
- Organisational talent, resilience and sense of responsibility, especially regarding occupational safety
- Good IT skills and a category B driving licence
- Ideally: experience in supervising employees or further training in facility services
