You consistently put customers at the centre and respond individually to their needs
Independent, targeted and proactive claims handling of complex property damage cases in the liability, motor vehicle and construction insurance sectors (operational, professional and construction liability insurances as well as construction insurances and construction guarantees)
Independent investigation and assessment of facts, including on-site assessments, covering coverage, liability and recourse issues
Involvement of internal and external experts including initiation of expert reports
Telephone, written and personal negotiations with policyholders, injured parties, legal representatives, brokers, private insurers and other internal and external parties
Reviewing, assessing and determining the liability compensation owed based on contracts, offers, invoices, receipts and/or in cooperation with experts

Your Skills and Talents

Basic training in insurance or law with several years of experience in handling complex claims (liability and construction insurances)
Further training as an insurance specialist with a federal diploma or other further education such as CAS Construction Insurance Law, CAS Liability and Insurance Law
Customer-, solution- and business-oriented approach
Strong communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
Fluent written and spoken German. Italian and/or English advantageous
Knowledge of contract law and basic construction technical knowledge desired
