- You consistently put customers at the center and respond individually to their needs
- Independent, targeted, and proactive claims handling of complex property damage cases in the liability, motor vehicle, and construction insurance sectors (business, professional, and construction liability insurance as well as construction insurance and construction surety bonds)
- Independent fact-finding and assessment, including on-site evaluations, covering coverage, liability, and recourse issues
- Involving internal and external experts, including initiating expert reports
- Telephone, written, and personal negotiations with policyholders, injured parties, legal representatives, brokers, private insurers, and other internal and external parties
- Reviewing, assessing, and determining the liability-based compensation owed based on contracts, offers, invoices, receipts, and/or in cooperation with experts
Your Skills and Talents
Your Skills and Talents
- Basic insurance or legal training with several years of experience in handling complex claims (liability and construction insurance)
- Further training as an insurance specialist with a federal diploma or other qualifications such as CAS Construction Insurance Law, CAS Liability and Insurance Law
- Customer-, solution-oriented, and entrepreneurial approach
- Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
- Fluent written and spoken German. Italian and/or English are an advantage
- Knowledge of contract law and basic construction technical knowledge desired
- You are open to change and see it as an opportunity
