What to expect:
- Proper, environmentally friendly and careful operation of machines and equipment in landfill, extraction, loading and recultivation
- Ensuring a clean, orderly site and workplace
- Carrying out minor maintenance work on equipment and machines as well as upkeep of small devices and assisting with plant maintenance
- Participation in production (processing of chippings and gravel)
- Assistance and cleaning work at gravel plant facilities, buildings, pits, plant site and workshop including surrounding areas
- Assistance with overhaul work on production equipment and machines
- Constructive collaboration between maintenance, production and quality management
What you bring:
- Completed technical vocational training, ideally with training as a construction machinery operator (e.g. Campus Sursee)
- Experience in the safe and environmentally friendly handling of construction machinery as well as technical understanding of maintenance and repair
- Basic knowledge of Holcim products and services
- Knowledge in earthworks, horticulture, gravel extraction, as well as basic knowledge of mineralogy
- Basic knowledge of processing technology and hydraulics and interest in production and technology
- Team spirit, strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Initiative, flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, basic knowledge of English is an advantage
