About the job
The Kantonsschule Uster is a medium-sized long and short secondary school with all Matura profiles. At our school, more than 1000 pupils from Uster and the region are taught by a team of about 140 teachers.
Your tasks
- Collaboration in the ongoing library operations, including taking on pedagogical responsibility in the learning and recreational area of the library.
- Active collaboration and support of the management in projects and the further development of the offer
- Organisation and implementation of research training sessions
- Advising pupils and teachers on research and information queries
Your profile
- Training or further education in the information and documentation sector
- Professional experience in a library or media library, ideally in an educational environment
- Experience in imparting information literacy as well as didactic skills in classes and workshops
- Good IT user skills and experience with new information technologies
- Strong service and advisory competence, ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working with young people and adults
