You don’t just want to be part of an existing team, but to build something new from the start? Then this position offers you the opportunity to actively help shape the development of our Palliative Care team and to professionally influence specialised outpatient palliative care within our organisation.

Together with our nursing expert, the needs assessment team, management and our network partners, you will develop a new service for people with complex palliative needs. You will contribute your expertise to the development of structures, processes and quality standards and thus make a significant contribution to holistic, dignified and reliable care at home.

Your tasks

• You actively help shape the development of our Palliative Care team from the very beginning.
• You develop structures, processes and professional standards for specialised outpatient palliative care together with the nursing expert and management.
• You accompany clients with complex palliative needs and their relatives in their homes.
• You take professional responsibility for demanding palliative care situations and coordinate the care process.
• You work closely with the needs assessment team, general practitioners, specialised palliative care services, hospitals, hospices, therapists and other network partners.
• You contribute your expertise to the organisation, support knowledge development and accompany employees with palliative care questions.
• You ensure professional nursing documentation as well as high nursing and care quality.

Your profile

• Diploma as a nurse HF/FH or an equivalent qualification recognised in Switzerland
• Several years of professional experience as a qualified nurse
• Completed further training in Palliative Care at CAS level or higher
• Solid experience in accompanying people with complex palliative needs
• Enjoyment in taking responsibility and actively shaping a new service
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• High professional, social and advisory competence
• Resilience, empathy and confident handling of demanding situations
• Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration
• Driving licence category B
