Teaching position for Electric Bass 10%The Kantonsschule Zürcher Oberland (KZO) in Wetzikon is a vibrant school that values an open culture, joint commitment, and an inspiring learning environment. It currently offers a lower secondary level (9th/10th school year) and all Zurich Matura profiles across 59 classes. With around 1300 students, 200 teachers, and 40 staff members in administration and operations, KZO is one of the large grammar schools in the canton.
For the subject Electric Bass, we are seeking a teaching appointee starting from the autumn semester 2026/27 (18 August 2026). The teaching load comprises 3.5 lessons, with a possibility of increase in the longer term, though fluctuations may occur.
The appointment is made according to the regulations for secondary and vocational school teachers as a teaching appointee for at least one semester.
You hold a Master’s degree in Music Education or a teaching diploma for Electric Bass, or an equivalent diploma for teaching at grammar schools according to MAR. You have experience teaching young people and are a versatile, committed musician with skills in various musical styles.
