Responsibilities

As a mechatronics technician, you are an essential part of well-functioning rail traffic. Because of you, our trains can run and our passengers arrive safely and quickly at their destination.

From 01.09.2027, we are looking for you for the 3.5-year training as a mechatronics technician (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the locations Aachen, Bonn, Brühl, Euskirchen, Cologne, Leverkusen or Troisdorf. The vocational school is located in Cologne.

This is what awaits you in your training:

You will become a professional in the maintenance, servicing and repair of our complex systems, machines and vehicles

Work outdoors on the tracks and systems

Mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Programming, installation and testing of modern hardware and software components

Skills

Your profile:

You have (soon) successfully obtained your secondary school leaving certificate

Your German language skills correspond to at least B2 level

You enjoy maths and physics

Passion for technology and manual challenges

You are definitely a team player and reliable

You also like to work independently

Attractive remuneration

Depending on the year of training, between 1,324 euros and 1,531 euros per month plus Christmas bonus. * Salary amounts are valid from 01.07.2026. The employment conditions apply to the vast majority of trainees in the DB Group.

Car driving licence
