The team of the Admissions and Credit Transfer Office consists of 10 employees and is the first point of contact for prospective students and applicants for studies at the University of St.Gallen.
We provide information to prospective students, applicants, students, and internal departments about admission guidelines, credit transfer regulations for externally completed achievements, and apply these independently. The workload is subject to seasonal fluctuations; this requires precise, efficient, and flexible working methods as well as a clear mind even in hectic times.
Your tasks
- Independent processing of applications with Swiss Matura and German Abitur
- Verification of electronically submitted data including follow-ups and communication of the admission decision
- Checking personal data and documents at all study levels
- Data quality checks
- Triage of incoming emails / tickets
- Formal examination of applications for crediting relevant professional experience towards studies
- Support of specialists in crediting external achievements (exchange achievements)
Your profile
- Good user knowledge of common MS Office software
- Communication skills
- Precise and efficient working style
- Flexibility due to seasonally varying workload
- Very good German skills
- Good English skills and basic knowledge of French
