Apprenticeship at Edorex?

Every year an apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ with a focus on application development

At Edorex, we offer an apprenticeship as an IT specialist EFZ in the field of application development every year. The four-year training starts with a basic training year at the vocational training center in Bern. From the second year of apprenticeship, our trainees are integrated into our learner team and work on current projects. With increasing experience, they take on more and more responsibility – both in internal projects and in direct collaboration with our clients.

A special highlight of the apprenticeship at Edorex is the work on the "Start Card" – an apprentice project that is designed as a digital surprise in January instead of traditional Christmas cards. The Start Card is conceived and implemented by the learners and surprises our clientele every year anew with creative ideas, such as interactive cards, skill games, quizzes, or other original ideas.

Taster Day

The next taster day for IT specialists will take place in April 2026:

Are you interested in diving into the world of application development? Once a year, we offer interested young people the opportunity to participate in a taster day and gain insight into the IT apprenticeship at Edorex.

In a small group, you will learn about the various steps of a software project and can actively participate. Additionally, you have the chance to accompany one of our IT specialists for an hour during their daily work – this way, you get a realistic picture of what to expect in this exciting profession.

Future Day for Girls

Discover IT!

On National Future Day, we open our doors at Edorex as part of "Girls in IT!". Girls who are curious about the world of IT will receive exciting insights and can gain their first practical experiences.

IT is a diverse field of work that encompasses much more than just computers – it is also found in everyday things like smartphones, washing machines, airplanes, and QR codes. In IT, creativity and enjoyment of collaboration with others are required – skills that many girls already possess.

The places for our Future Day are allocated via nationalerzukunftstag.ch. From the end of June, the offers can be viewed there, and registration is possible after the summer holidays.

The Future Day is for students in grades 5 to 7.
