Job Description

• Responsible for the laboratory, warehouse & tank storage of the Regional Special Waste Incineration Plant (RSMVA), Basel platform and logistics, leading approximately 10 employees
• Supervision and assurance of operations
• Drafting of operating regulations
• Training of employees, focusing on chemistry & hazardous materials
• Economic and ecological optimisation of the plant
• Troubleshooting, conducting and evaluating test incinerations and experiments
• Chemical support for logistics

Qualifications

• Completed studies in chemical engineering (HTL / FH) or comparable qualification
• Basic knowledge of business administration is an advantage
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a chemical company (preferably production)
• Leadership experience
• Solid knowledge of general chemistry
• Knowledge of instrumental analytics is an advantage
• Knowledge of chemical process safety and risk analysis
• Knowledge of explosion protection (EX protection)
• Knowledge of process engineering is an advantage
• Fluent German with good English skills, French is an advantage
• High commitment, efficient, pragmatic and goal-oriented working style
• Outgoing and team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
