Your new role
In this interesting and challenging position within the Controlling team of the Finance Department, you are responsible for city-wide risk management, which includes the role of the IKS delegate as well as tasks related to city-wide insurance management and risk reporting. You will also support the Head of Controlling with additional tasks in the team and project areas.
This position is for you if
- You have a degree from a university of applied sciences or university in business administration or economics.
- You have professional experience in insurance and/or risk management – experience in controlling is a plus.
- You work efficiently, reliably, independently and solution-oriented.
- You are a team-oriented, open, persuasive and resilient personality.
- You enjoy achieving goals together with the city departments.
- You have good user knowledge of MS Office (mandatory) and Abacus (advantageous).

The Finance Department is the hub for all financial and business management matters of the entire administration of the City of St. Gallen. The department consists of the City Accounting and Controlling divisions, the Procurement Coordination, and the staff unit. You report to the Head of Controlling.
