The Oberstufenzentrum Täuffelen school association (www.oszt.ch) is a public primary school in Täuffelen BE. Around 160 students from the member municipalities of Epsach, Hagneck, Mörigen, Sutz-Lattrigen and Täuffelen-Gerolfingen attend the 7th, 8th and 9th school years at OSZ Täuffelen. The teaching staff comprises around 20 people.

Your area of responsibility:

• Responsibility for all maintenance, repair and cleaning work: school and sports facilities, teaching swimming pool, outdoor areas and green spaces
• Communication and coordination with external service providers
• Supervision of building technology
• Preparing rooms for: school matters / events by third parties
• Supporting school management and teachers with craft-related concerns, finding creative solutions
• Locking and unlocking control as well as monitoring of the school premises
• Responsibility for the safety of the school premises

 We are looking for a specialist with:

• EFZ training as a facility maintenance specialist
• Professional experience advantageous
• Precise, structured, service-oriented and systematic working method
• Ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations
• Willingness to work irregular hours in the evenings and at weekends
• Weekly on-call duty
• High social competence in dealing with teachers, students, clubs and authorities
• Manual dexterity
• Sense of responsibility and independence
• Driving licence B, own vehicle advantageous
• Team player
