The Guest and Culture House in Kloster Dornach is a multi-disciplinary operation that combines hospitality in the restaurant and hotel with a curated cultural programme and its own church-spiritual offerings. Just a few steps from Dornach station, the monastery walls enclose a place of power that invites quiet relaxation.

On behalf of the Kloster Dornach Foundation, we operate the former Capuchin monastery. The gastronomic operation consists of a restaurant, garden, seminar and banquet services, and consciously processes fresh products from the monastery garden. In addition, Kloster Dornach offers 30 hotel rooms and invites guests to meet and reflect in the well-kept monastery garden and the renovated monastery church.

Service Staff Paid by the Hour (m/f) Seasonal Fixed-Term until the end of September 2026 / Kloster Dornach

Your tasks:

• Competent, warm service in the à-la-carte area as well as at banquets

• Personal advice to our guests on food and drinks – authentic and with joy

• Ensuring a neat and professional service process

• Contribution to a calm, organised flow at events

• Compliance with operational quality and hygiene standards

• Participation in special events

What you bring:

• Completed vocational training in gastronomy and experience in service – ideally complemented by insights into the banquet area

• Joy in delighting guests

• Organisational skills, reliability and an eye for detail

• Strong communication skills

• A positive attitude and the ability to keep an overview even in lively moments

• Willingness to develop further and actively contribute to the team
