Senior Controller 100% (m/f)

As the central controlling contact for one of our two main business units, you will work closely with the operational managers. The focus is on analysing business development, critically questioning deviations, and supporting the derivation of appropriate measures. This creates financial transparency for managing the business unit. In addition, you will actively contribute to the further development of group-wide controlling instruments and processes.

What you can achieve with us

• Active business partner and sparring partner for the managers of one of our two main business units
• Preparation, analysis, and commentary of the monthly management reporting
• Analysis of deviations and support for operational managers in deriving suitable recommendations for action
• Participation in forecasting, budgeting, and medium-term planning
• Creation of ad hoc, scenario, and profitability analyses
• Support in controlling-relevant tasks within the framework of monthly and annual financial statements
• Proactive further development of group-wide controlling instruments, reporting standards, and processes

What you bring to your role

• Completed business studies, further training as a certified expert in accounting and controlling, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a business partner function
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex matters clearly and appropriately for the audience
• Solid user knowledge in Power BI or comparable reporting tools
• Negotiation-level German skills; English skills at conversational level are an advantage
• Hands-on mentality and passion to achieve great things in a small team
