About the job
The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for around 18,000 inhabitants with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centres and the historic village of Kyburg. We train around 25 apprentices in various fields of activity and prepare them for their entry into professional life.
Our forest operation team ensures a sustainable, natural and economical protective, welfare and utilitarian function of the forests in the forest districts of Illnau-Effretikon and Lindau. We are offering a
- you contribute to ensuring that the forest remains in ecological balance in the long term, retains its function as a habitat, protective and recreational area, and can be used economically
- you will experience three exciting and varied years of apprenticeship
- you will be professionally trained and supported by competent trainers
- have good to very good grades in the respective core subjects (Secondary A or B).
- are a skilled, handy team player.
- have passion for this profession, good physical condition and a high sense of responsibility.
- enjoy working outdoors in sun, rain and snow.
