DESIGN ENGINEER / PRODUCT DESIGNER (m/f)

• Responsibility for a defined, complex and versatile area in detailed design in the field of bending and punching
• Development and coordination of technical documentation for assembly tools, progressive tools, systems and general equipment
• Ensuring high-quality product designs, their detailed drawings (mostly in CAD), concept discussions and parts lists
• Further development and implementation regarding efficiency improvements, project optimisations, key figures and analyses, feasibility studies and offers
• Regular exchange with the direct supervisor and other specialists in the team, active interdisciplinary collaboration on various projects in the specialist area (further developments, deputising, supplier support, etc.)

• Technical basic training mandatory with further education in design, mechanical/metal construction at HF/FH/Bachelor level (or equivalent)
• Proof of performance in a central function of a production or manufacturing company with a flat hierarchy and short decision-making paths
• Several years of professional experience in the design field
• Experienced handling of process and development topics in an industrial or manufacturing environment (or comparable sector)
• Very good German spoken and written, business fluent English, strong desire for an all-rounder role, good knowledge of standards as well as CAD, MS Office and ERP a great advantage
