You are interested in technology, digital trends and don’t want to spend all day just programming at the computer? Then the apprenticeship as a Developer in Digital Business Federal VET Diploma at SIX could be just the right thing for you.
With us, you analyse processes, work on digital solutions and learn how companies use modern technologies. You communicate with different teams, develop ideas, visualise concepts and help improve digital products and workflows.
During your apprenticeship, you get to know different areas of SIX and regularly change to new teams. This way, you find out what suits you best and gain versatile practical experience. You will be accompanied by experienced trainers who support and encourage you. Step by step, you take on more responsibility and develop both professionally and personally.
What to expect
- You work on various projects and gain insights into the development and implementation of digital solutions. In addition, you analyse existing processes and help make them more efficient and future-oriented.
- Every 6 to 12 months, you change to a new department and get to know different areas of responsibility as well as exciting topics.
- In the first year of apprenticeship, you spend the first months in an instructive basic year with an external partner.
- During your apprenticeship, you also attend vocational school one to two days a week. There you deepen your knowledge in technical subjects as well as in general education topics and languages.
- You are part of a large community of apprentices. Besides daily collaboration, you regularly meet for joint activities and events.
