For our client (logistics and transport company) in the Bern region, we are looking for an immediate or agreed start:
Head of Operations Logistics 100% (m/f/d)
Job Description- Overall responsibility for internal operations logistics, especially transport and order picking
- Professional and personnel management as well as further development of employees
- Participation in the development and implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Ensuring an efficient and high-quality daily business
- Analysis, optimisation and further development of logistical processes
- Development and implementation of measures to increase efficiency and profitability
- Responsibility for personnel, deployment and resource planning
- Coordination and collaboration with internal departments and interfaces
- Leadership and support of projects for continuous process improvement
- Completed training in logistics with appropriate further education
- Several years of professional experience in logistics as well as proven leadership experience
- Sound knowledge in the optimisation of logistical workflows and processes
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and digital logistics solutions
- Entrepreneurial thinking and strong sense of responsibility
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Communicative, resilient and team-oriented personality
- Good German and French skills, spoken and written
- Additional language skills are an advantage
