The office forms the service centre of the Zurich church community. The real estate department manages the church community's real estate portfolio with a focus on use in the areas of culture, events and housing. In the construction projects and sustainability team of the real estate department, we are looking for you by arrangement as
Your tasks
- You are responsible for coordinating, budgeting and implementing the framework credit "Biodiversity" of the Zurich church community
- You are responsible for quality assurance and monitoring of the overall project as well as reporting to the internal political committees
- You support the various professional groups in the church community with concerns regarding biodiversity
- You clarify overarching processes with public authorities
- You take on client representation for construction projects of the church community in the context of biodiversity, landscape architecture and settlement area
- You lead an external expert advisory team of biologists, landscape architects and biodiversity specialists who undertake advisory and operational tasks within the framework credit
Your profile
- Degree from a university or university of applied sciences in architecture, landscape architecture, spatial planning, cultural or environmental engineering sciences or biology
- Additional training or proven interest in biodiversity, preferably as a certified biodiversity specialist
- Experience in project management of construction and landscape architecture projects as well as in planning and implementing projects in settlement areas
- Confident handling and negotiation skills in contact with municipal and cantonal authorities
- High social competence and confident manner in dealing with various stakeholders
- Independent, reliable and proactive personality
- Experience with participatory processes and in the political environment is desirable
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in German
