About the job

You work 80-100% in Zug

• You create, maintain and optimise test procedures and test systems, thereby contributing to high product and process quality
• Planning, procurement, commissioning and support of automated test systems for assemblies and end devices are also part of your responsibilities
• You actively participate in the further development and digitalisation of test software and test hardware and drive forward modern solutions for digital data acquisition
• By analysing test results and production data, you derive concrete optimisation measures and support the continuous improvement of our processes
• As a technical contact person, you accompany the operation and lifecycle of IT hardware in the field of test technology and coordinate backup, update and replacement processes
• You analyse malfunctions in test procedures and test systems, sustainably rectify errors and ensure stable operation
• In close cooperation with various departments, you contribute to the creation and further development of test concepts
• Furthermore, you support special measures and optimisation projects to ensure our high delivery quality

• You have a technical basic education in the fields of automation, mechatronics or electronics and ideally further training in process technology or automation
• You are very familiar with production and test systems from practical experience and understand the underlying industrial processes
• You bring knowledge in control technology, mechatronic systems and industrial communication; experience with Beckhoff is a plus
• You have initial programming experience and are enthusiastic about innovative solutions at the interface of production, test technology and digitalisation
• MES, SAP, SQL databases or IT/OT architectures are not foreign words to you and ideally round off your technical profile
• You work in a structured, independent and solution-oriented manner and bring the necessary hands-on mentality to pragmatically tackle challenges
• As a team-oriented personality, you appreciate cross-departmental collaboration and communicate confidently in German as well as well in English
