Your Tasks
- In this demanding leadership role, you bear overall responsibility for the strategic, operational, personnel, organisational, and professional management of the nursing department at the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre in close partnership with the medical management. Together with your directly subordinate team leaders, you lead the entire nursing and MPA team and create the conditions for high-quality, patient-centred, and economical care.
- You ensure smooth emergency operations and, together with the medical service as well as other internal and external partners, guarantee close interprofessional collaboration. By contributing to clinical service operations, you remain close to patient care and the needs of your employees. In doing so, you promote a culture of appreciation, mutual trust, and continuous development.
- You create optimal conditions for the training of students in the Postgraduate Emergency Nursing programme (NDS HF) and, together with your leadership team, support the professional development of all employees.
- Your responsibilities include planning, controlling, and further developing processes, structures, and resources, as well as ensuring high nursing quality in compliance with legal requirements, internal guidelines, and economic objectives. You are responsible for quality development and assurance, participate in budget, investment, and staffing planning processes, and represent the nursing department of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre in cross-departmental projects, working groups, and strategic committees.
- Furthermore, you actively shape the future of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre and make a significant contribution to the advancement of modern emergency medicine and emergency nursing.
Your Profile
- Completed training as a Dipl. Expert in Emergency Nursing Postgraduate HF programme.
- Several years of professional experience in an emergency department of a Swiss acute hospital.
- Several years of leadership experience and ideally completed or ongoing leadership training, or willingness to undertake such training.
- Strong understanding of organisational, strategic, and economic contexts.
- High social and self-competence as well as an appreciative, transparent, and committed leadership style.
- Structured, solution-oriented, and decisive working method with pronounced coordination and organisational skills.
- Enjoyment of interprofessional collaboration and active participation in change and development processes.
- Motivation to further develop the future of the Interdisciplinary Emergency Centre together with your team and to set new impulses.
