In this in-house role, you are not only responsible for import and export customs clearance, but also assist with all-rounder tasks such as order entry or the creation of transport notifications. Tasks
• create and check import and export customs declarations
• enter orders and maintain shipment data in the system
• create notifications and transport instructions
• communicate with customers, partners and customs authorities
• check commercial invoices, certificates of origin and accompanying documents
• monitor deadlines, regulations and permits
• resolve discrepancies and special cases
• support organisational and administrative tasks in day-to-day business
Requirements
• completed training in freight forwarding logistics or as a customs declarant
• 3–4 years of professional experience in import and export processing essential
• knowledge of Swiss customs law as well as basic knowledge of transport processes
• precise, structured and responsible way of working
• team-oriented, service-minded and flexible personality
IT
MS Office – user knowledge
e-dec, Passar – good knowledge
Languages
German: spoken and written very good
Other language skills welcome
