Your area of responsibility
- Ensuring timely and quantity-appropriate material supply through operational procurement and material requirements planning (MRP)
- Checking requirements, initiating orders, and consistently following up on order confirmations, delivery dates, and quantities
- Active management of suppliers as well as early identification and handling of risks and delivery bottlenecks
- Review and optimisation of MRP parameters, inventories, and procurement-relevant master data
- Close collaboration with production, planning, logistics, goods receipt, strategic procurement, and suppliers
- Preparation and analysis of operational key figures as well as participation in the continuous improvement, standardisation, and digitalisation of procurement processes

What you bring
- Completed commercial or technical basic training and ideally further training in purchasing or supply chain management
- Several years of experience in operational procurement or disposition in an industrial environment
- Good knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), inventory management and supplier management
- Very good ERP user knowledge, ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM, as well as good Excel skills
- Analytical, structured and reliable working style with strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, initiative and sense of responsibility
- Enjoyment in professional support, knowledge transfer and collaboration with various interfaces
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills; French skills are an advantage
