Responsibilities

• Management of a geriatric psychiatric acute ward
• Senior medical responsibility for the treatment of a broad spectrum of mental illnesses in people over 65 years
• Line management and professional supervision of assistant doctors and assistant psychologists
• Participation in outpatient services
• Member of the centre management and clinic management
• Involvement in senior medical on-call duties according to the duty concept
• Further development of psychiatric treatment and training offerings
• Collaboration with referrers and other involved internal and external offices

Requirements

• Specialist in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
• Interest in the field of geriatric psychiatry and psychotherapy
• Several years of professional experience
• Resilient, committed, and reliable personality with high social competence and service orientation
• Very good knowledge of German
