Your tasks
Are you looking for a new challenge and enthusiastic about taking on the technical, personnel, and organizational leadership of the newly established Safety Analyses group and leading the subordinate employees?
Are you interested in, besides the leadership role, also managing and coordinating long-standing approval procedures to obtain permits for the safe operation of the facilities for the disposal of radioactive waste at PSI for the federal collection point?
Do you enjoy acquiring additional knowledge and are you passionate about creating complex safety studies based on nuclide inventory calculations?
Do you demonstrate a strong affinity for technology and can you motivate yourself for the coordination, creation, and evaluation of safety reports for nuclear facilities?
Do you enjoy working with other people and interdisciplinary expert groups?
Do you like presenting your results in technical discussions with the supervisory authority and at conferences?

Your profile
- You have a completed engineering university degree or a university degree in a scientific field with technical content, preferably with a doctorate, or have equivalent know-how
- Ideally, you have good expertise in the fields of risk assessment, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, radioactivity, and radiation protection, preferably with practical experience
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in personnel management
- You possess very good IT and programming skills and value precise working methods
- You have a very good and confident command of the German language and good English skills
- You are a team-oriented, communicative, and open personality with the desire to take on leadership responsibility
