WHAT YOU DO HERE IS IMPORTANT:
Together with you, we are committed to ensuring that clean electricity is also safe. We are the interim storage facility for nuclear waste and a high-tech recycling company. In doing so, we carefully separate radioactive from non-radioactive waste and return 90 percent of the delivered material back into the recycling cycle. The rest we securely seal for decades.
The Security Technology and Communication department is responsible for the technical communication systems, fire protection, and security measures (object protection) at Zwilag. To complement our team in the long term, we are looking for a committed individual with an engineering education and experience in the design of structural and technical measures for security, fire protection, or technical communication. You are willing to further your training in all three areas.
If you enjoy the conception, planning, implementation, and documentation of technically demanding and interdisciplinary projects, and like to independently develop and implement projects, you are right with us!
IMPORTANT TASKS AWAIT YOU:
- Co-responsibility for the team’s technical expertise, continuously developing and passing it on
- Systematic documentation, design bases, and concepts of the technical systems in the specialist areas of security, fire protection, and technical communication build up and expand
- Conduct system evaluations based on relevant industry standards and norms
- Develop, analyse, and manage maintenance concepts for safe and efficient operation
- Develop, analyse, evaluate, and improve integral system tests
- Active participation in interdisciplinary project teams
- Independent project management – from planning to implementation
- Build up know-how on the legal foundations of the above-mentioned specialist areas
WHAT DISTINGUISHES YOU:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable field or proven further training and expertise in the field of security technology
- Experience in conception and documentation in the field of security
- Knowledge in the field of fire protection or technical communication
- Knowledge of legal foundations and standards in your specialist area is an advantage
- Experience in project management
- Sense of responsibility, integrity, independence, and flexibility
