The Model Group develops, produces and supplies innovative and high-quality display and packaging solutions made from solid and corrugated cardboard. The paper for this is produced in our own paper mills from recycled paper fibres – thus ensuring a sustainable paper cycle. The Model Group employs around 4,400 people at 15 European locations. The company headquarters is located in Weinfelden.

These are your tasks

• Fault analysis, repairs and planned maintenance in the area of the paper machine and infrastructure systems
• Execution of preventive maintenance and repair work
• On-call duty for regular workshop shifts (commute up to 45 minutes)
• Support with new installations and commissioning of machines and production systems
• Leading assembly teams during planned overhaul work
• Compliance with safety and quality requirements
• Opportunity to specialise in a technical field

This is what sets you apart

• Successfully completed mechanical training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) and possibly further training as a maintenance specialist
• Industrial experience in a manufacturing company with machine technology and automated systems is an advantage
• You are a team player, work in a structured, solution-oriented manner and keep a cool head in hectic situations
• High sense of responsibility and safety awareness
• Good German language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good MS Office skills are an advantage
