About the job

For our workshop, we are looking for an experienced professional who applies their skills daily on vehicles and confidently passes them on to our apprentices. Your main area of responsibility is in the workshop as an automotive mechatronics technician or automotive diagnostician. In a secondary role, you take responsibility for the training of our apprentices: you approach young people with openness and understanding and accompany them with patience and clear guidance until successful completion of their apprenticeship. Apprentice Supervisor Workshop 100 %

as Automotive Mechatronics Technician or Automotive Diagnostician

What you can achieve

In the workshop (80%)

• You carry out maintenance and repair work on vehicles – you independently complete even demanding tasks with the latest equipment
• You install original accessories
• You create reliable diagnoses and independently resolve faults and errors

In apprentice training (20%)

• You accompany our approximately 10 apprentices from their first day of work until successful completion of their apprenticeship and plan their deployment in the workshop
• You impart specialist knowledge in a practical way – directly on the customer’s vehicle
• You conduct location and assessment discussions and prepare the apprentices for inter-company courses and the qualification procedure
• You are the contact person for apprentices, parents, vocational school and association
• You participate in the recruitment of new apprentices, for example at taster days and career fairs

What you bring

• Completed training as an automotive diagnostician with a federal certificate of competence or as an automotive mechatronics technician with a federal vocational diploma
• Several years of professional experience in the workshop
• Trainer course or willingness to complete it
• A flair for young people: you motivate, support and challenge – and remain calm even on hectic days
• Role model function, reliability and strong communication skills
• High team spirit and flexibility
