Carpenter

Your mission:

• Reading and interpreting wooden construction plans.
• Installing boards, reveals and carrying out finishing work.
• Assembling, fitting and adjusting wooden structures, frameworks, façades and prefabricated elements on site according to plans.
• Marking references on wood, numbering elements and making cuts.
• Manufacturing wooden elements, including beams, rafters and other components.
• Carrying out insulation and sealing work.
• Performing renovation work on existing structures.
• Strictly adhering to safety standards and operational procedures.

Your profile:

• Possession of training or confirmed professional experience as a carpenter specialising in wood.
• Mastery of techniques for manufacturing and assembling wooden structures.
• Knowledge of materials and tools specific to wood carpentry.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Being in good physical condition.
• Aptitude for working at height on scaffolding.

Joiner

Your mission:

• Choosing wood species: spruce, fir, larch, beech, oak, etc.
• Reading plans and instructions provided by the technical office or client.
• Cutting wood to specified dimensions using band saws, circular saws, spindle moulders, etc.
• Planing and machining pieces using hand tools, stationary or robotic machines.
• Executing various types of joints depending on the pieces and desired appearance.
• Gluing, assembling, clamping and pressing the different parts of the element to be constructed.
• Treating surfaces: sanding, staining, varnishing and fitting hardware.
• Loading elements and transporting them to the client, construction site or residence.
• Installing thermal and acoustic insulation.
• Assembling, fitting and adjusting elements manufactured in the workshop.
• Carrying out repair work on locks, hinges, doors, windows or broken shutters.
• Restoring doors, windows, furniture or worn or damaged objects according to standards.

Your profile:

• Possession of training or confirmed professional experience as a joiner.
• Good mastery of joinery machines and tools.
• Ability to work independently from plans.
• Being in good physical condition.
