The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, housing and therapy for children and young people aged 4 to 20 in Fehraltorf. Immediately or by arrangement we are looking for reinforcement as
Social Pedagogue as Housing Specialist 40 - 90%
These are your tasks:
- Supplementing the team in a residential group with children and young people
- Support in an individual setting, if necessary 1:1
- Creating an active living environment for the children and young people together with the team
- Empathetic support of children and young people with sensory impairments on the autism spectrum
- Close coordination with the team for a shared educational approach and for jointly managing everyday challenges
What you bring with you:
- Qualification as a Social Pedagogue HF/FH
- Professional experience in supporting people on the autism spectrum
Reliability, high resilience and a balanced personality
- Observational skills and enjoyment in supporting children and young people
