A position for a cleaner at 25% is open at the Étang Community Centre.

Job Description

• Maintain the various premises and surfaces, floors, stairs, cleaning woodwork, tiles, carpets, windows and light fittings, using appropriate products
• Be able to use various tools and machines (vacuum cleaner, floor polisher, scrubber dryer, etc.)
• Independently ensure the cleaning of toilets, sinks and kitchen equipment
• Ensure waste disposal
• Report any damage or deterioration observed to the animation team
• Manage equipment and cleaning product stock, report missing items
• Be responsible for opening and closing the premises according to received instructions
• Work independently
• Collaborate with technical staff and the animation team
• Plan work according to the needs and vision of the team for a quality welcome of users

Qualifications

• Previous experience in premises cleaning, especially in using industrial cleaning machines and specific products
• Good physical condition: ability to move furniture and objects, clean windows (work at height)
• Ability to work independently and assume this role alone on site

• Salary according to the Geneva State pay scale: maximum class 4
