Arxada is looking for an Intern in Process Technology for the Research and Development Department in Visp, Switzerland.
In this position, you will gain insights into a diverse specialty chemicals company located in the heart of the Alps in the canton of Valais in Switzerland. You can apply your skills to real problems in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The internship duration should be at least 4 months and a maximum of 12 months.
Main tasks:
- Process simulations or experimental work or a combination of both
- Planning and conducting chemical experiments in collaboration with senior engineers or chemists for various chemical process technologies
- Data collection, processing, and interpretation of results
- Possible topics revolve around chemical process development related to construction materials and corrosion
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical or process engineering, chemistry, or a related field
- Structured, goal-oriented, and well-organized working style
- A flexible personality, initiative, willingness to learn, and commitment complete your profile
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Interest in the topic of metal corrosion is an advantage
- Fluent German skills (spoken and written), English skills are an advantage.
