The Office for Mobility (MobA) is responsible for issues related to mobility. Mobility has numerous impacts on the environment and the economy. Due to increased individual mobility and the growth of public transport, planning and management of mobility are becoming increasingly important.

Your tasks

• Management of cantonal and regional planning
• Review of aspects affecting mobility at cantonal, regional and municipal levels
• Review of local and detailed development plans from the perspective of mobility (validation of traffic studies)
• Development, coordination and monitoring of sectoral plans
• Advising municipalities and the civil engineering office in the creation of mobility infrastructure plans (MIP)
• Advising planners and municipalities

Desired profile

• University education (Master's), degree as an ETH or FH engineer or equivalent training as well as experience in legislation and mobility planning
• Interest in the application of legislation, standards and planning instruments
• Proficiency in German as well as very good knowledge of French
