The Secondary School and Vocational Education Office (MBA) is the competence and service centre for vocational education, grammar schools, higher vocational education and further education in the Canton of Zurich. We support and supervise secondary schools, vocational schools, providers of preparatory vocational years and training companies.
The Digital Service Center Sek II (DSC) provides services in this environment to support the administrative and pedagogical-didactic processes for around 60,000 users in over 40 cantonal schools. We are looking immediately or by arrangement for an employee for project coordination in the areas of Service Delivery Management and Application Service with a workload of 80-100%. The position is fixed-term until June 2029.
Your area of responsibility
- Technical project management (planning, monitoring, control) of internal and external IT projects (e.g. ICT basic supply/migration projects, specialist application-specific projects)
- Collection and evaluation of business requirements and translation into technical specifications, process definitions, definition and assurance of deliverables
- Responsibility for stakeholder management of internal and external interest groups, in particular other administrative bodies, upper secondary schools and suppliers.
- Development of concepts, presentations and communications for various stakeholders as well as preparation of relevant documentation (e.g. operational documentation, training materials)
- Support in operational day-to-day business
Your profile
- Completed training in computer science or business informatics (HF/FH) or comparable training
- HERMES project management certification and several years of professional experience in an IT project management role (IT infrastructure and/or application environment)
- Structured, networked working method and analytical skills in a dynamic and complex system environment
- High service and customer orientation and strong communication skills in German
- Knowledge of educational processes is an advantage
