Your Responsibilities
Process Analytics, as a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group, is a leading provider of field instruments for analysing liquids and gases in the process industry. At our headquarters in Urdorf, we develop and produce high-quality sensors for controlling production processes, which we distribute worldwide through our own market organisations.
For our sensor production in Urdorf, we are looking for a committed and interested individual with a strong quality awareness as a Production Specialist Assembly & Testing Technology 100%
In this role, you will undertake the following tasks:
- You are responsible for assembling state-of-the-art laser sensors as well as optical sensors
- You perform soldering work for the manufacture of electronic components for laser and optical sensors
- You carry out general quality inspections and final control tasks with measurement protocols
- You independently handle your tasks according to technical drawings and work instructions
- You prepare certificates and shipping documents on the PC
- You support the creation and updating of work instructions and actively contribute to improvements in your assembly area
We require the following for this position:
- Completed technical vocational training (EFZ) as a production mechanic, automatic assembler, electromechanic, or related professions
- 3 - 5 years of practical experience in a manufacturing environment (fine assembly), mechanical knowledge, soldering experience is an advantage
- MS Office user skills, fluent German, English is an advantage
- Calmness, patience, and perseverance as well as the ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Open, communicative, and independent personality with great flexibility, high resilience, and good team spirit
